MetraTech Wins DaaS Deal
MetraTech announced that Nervogrid, an IT service provider for the SME sector, has chosen MetraNet as the billing, settlement and customer care solution for its Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) offerings. MetraNet’s unique dynamic business modeling-based functionality will enable Nervogrid to offer fully managed, secure and performance-guaranteed IT services to businesses within the education, financial services, legal and manufacturing/logistics industries with a pay-as-you go model.

Intec Issues Profit Warning
Intec has reported that conditions in its addressable markets have become more difficult in two areas. In particular, the Group's markets have been impacted by increased competition leading to pricing pressure and extended sales cycles as decision making is deferred; this has been especially the case in emerging markets.

In addition to what has already been a difficult trading year, operators across Europe, the Middle East and Africa are tightening their budgets, some as they approach their financial year ends. As a result of both of these factors, Intec has recently experienced further deferrals in the closure of a number of key licensing deals in the first half of 2010.

Movistar Colombia Chooses Subex’s ROC for Fraud Management
Subex has signed a contract with Telefónica Ingeniería de Seguridad (TIS) as solution integrator for ROC for fraud management for Movistar Colombia. TIS is a global leading provider for security and fraud prevention solutions that has been chosen by Movistar Colombia as integrator partner. Movistar Colombia is one of Telefonica’s largest properties in Latin America that offers voice services, data transmission services and wireless broadband access and today has a subscriber base of 8.9 million.

Subex Bags “Best Supplier for Innovation” Award from Swisscom
Subex has been named the best supplier in the Innovation category by Swisscom for its OneFM fraud management solution. The award was presented to Subex as part of the first Swisscom Supplier Awards, held in Swisscom's BrandGym in Bern, Switzerland. The awards were presented in three categories - Innovation, Partnership and Sustainability, and the winners were chosen among more than 5,000 of Swisscom’s suppliers.

MetraTech Does Billing Deal with OnStream
OnStream, a National Grid Company, which provides gas and electricity metering solutions to energy suppliers in Great Britain, has chosen MetraTech to provide the billing element of its extensive business transformation program. MetraNet, MetraTech’s billing and customer care application, will be deployed to support both OnStream’s traditional meters and the rollout of its new smart meter business model in the UK.
