TM Forum Training Passes the Test

TM Forum TrainingYesterday and Monday, Management World 2009 attendees participated in a number of TM Forum Training courses, including Business Process Framework (eTOM) Distilled, Information Framework (SID) Distilled, SDF Overview, Next Generation Billing & Charging Overview, Revenue Assurance Overview and NGOSS in Practice.

Attendees also got to participate in a brand new, free 1-hour Cloud Computing for Global Enterprise course yesterday. On Friday, we’ll be offering a 1-day course on Using the Information Framework for Application Integration and Application Framework (TAM) Distilled.

The TM Forum Transformation Roundtable takes place tomorrow from 2-4 p.m. at the Uraine room, level 3, and will discuss the progress that service providers are making in their transformational journey and how the current economic situation is impacting transformational plans. On Wednesday, May 6 at 4 p.m., listen to Adrian Dietrich from Swisscom:
“How to Deliver 100% OSS and Network Availability in an Extremely Flexible and Fast Business: An Example from the UEFA Euro 2008”

During UEFA EURO 2008™, Swisscom was the official provider of IT and telecom services. Adrian will explain how Swisscom managed the infrastructure, provided 24x7 service operations and provided end to end visibility of the agreed services. The biggest challenge was to provide 100% network and OSS availability, which was achieved by using EMC Smarts as a management tool.
