Vodafone Netherlands Selects Objective Systems Integrators For Next Generation Service Assurance

Nice, France - May 18th 2010 – Vodafone Netherlands announce the go-live status of its Next Generation Service Assurance software platform to provide end-to-end monitoring of Products and Services delivered to its customers in the Netherlands. The platform, based on the Objective Systems Integrators (OSI) NetExpert Neon software was selected by Vodafone NL in 2009 as part of a Vodafone Global selection process.

In order to provide an optimal experience to its subscribers, Vodafone Netherlands insisted on the ability to monitor a wide range of diverse services in real-time. Also vital to their needs is the ability to visualize the relationships between services and resources and to identify and repair faults proactively before the subscriber service is impacted.

The OSI solution enables Vodafone to rapidly define, design, and deploy mobile service support solutions.  Features of the solution include state of the art correlation and propagation techniques; dragged-and-dropped service modeling; and portal-based customized visualizations. These capabilities ensure the quality of Vodafone Netherlands’ services, allowing them to proactively manage the customer experience and ensure that SLA commitments are met.
