TM Forum members Vodafone D2 GmbH and PSI Transcom GmbH sponsor this year TeleManagement World with its new value added service Push-To-Talk (PTT). Based on their sales partnership both companies support the TM Forum staff with this new solution.
This service provides instant voice communication among a group of participants based on convergent mobile technologies like GSM, GPRS, UMTS or WLAN.
This new Push-To-Talk service offers worldwide communication on popular mobiles phones. It is easy to use, easy to install and also easy to operate. Key features are:
- WalkieTalkie and pager functionality
- free definable groups and unlimited group size
- available worldwide in all Vodafone networks
These features can be extended by the positioning and tracing & tracking options.
In 2008 Vodafone D2 and PSI Transcom signed a strategic sales agreement which emphasises the collaborative sales approach of both parties heading for a win-win-win situation according to TM Forum principles.
