TM Forum membership and participation has huge benefits for System Integrators.  Much of the work and its output are about setting standards for OSS/BSS integration - by joining TM Forum SIs have the opportunity to influence these standards and to better serve their clients' best interests. 
  
Adopting TM Forum interfaces and frameworks means reducing implementation risk for SIs and their service provider clients. Better yet, the approach is a practical way to introduce “re-use” :  capturing valuable expertise in OSS/BSS integration through work with one client and re-applying it to the next.

This way SIs can greatly speed up and reduce the cost of the ‘low level’ integration work while at the same time directing more resources and time into high level applications integration and thus return real value to clients in an increasingly competitive environment.
