Morristown, NJ – June 12th, 2008 – The TM Forum announced today that it will be leading a discussion on its Service Delivery Framework program with key telecoms bodies IEEE, ITU-T, OMA and IPsphere at its Service Delivery Platforms Summit on June 30th – July 1st in San Francisco.
With Service Delivery Platforms now supplied by most leading vendors the need to harmonise standards within this growing market is important to allow for Service Providers to have interoperability and for vendors to create open interfaces.
The Summit has speakers from major vendors including IBM, HP, Alcatel-Lucent and Telcordia Technologies who are incorporating these new standards into their SDP platform developments as well as Service Providers Qwest and Telecom Italia.
