Building on the work that has been developed in the previous phase, i.e. the TMF519: Service Delivery Framework (SDF) Business Agreements [SDF BA] and the TR139 V2: SDF Reference Model [SDF RM], the SDF Reference Architecture (SDF RA) defines the scope and characteristics of essential design patterns that the SDF architecture must support. The Reference Architecture provides the conceptual definition of those patterns. Detailed specifications must be developed in future phases to achieve interoperability and process automation for end-to-end service lifecycle management in a composite service environment. These specifications will be developed either by the SDF team, facilitated by the SES Management Solution team in collaboration with other TM Forum technical teams or Standard Development Organizations (SDOs).
