The TMF403 – Interface Implementation Specification (IIS) template is packaged within a single zip file titled TMF403_IIS-Template.zip.
This zip file contains 2 documents:
TM Forum Interface Implementation Specifications (IIS) provide the definition of interfaces among the member company elements of a Catalyst Solution. Interface Implementation Specifications are developed and issued by Catalyst project teams to document what the project did and how it was done. An Interface Implementation Specification should allow someone picking up the document to create a similar implementation. Interface Implementation Specifications include definition of the business problem addressed, the business process(es) involved, an abbreviated business requirements model, an information model, the technical solution and protocol specific implementation.
The IIS template can and should be used to make certain that the needed sections are provided, and that the format conforms to the TM Forum standard.
Document TMF857, NGOSS through XML, can be used as an example, as to how this template should be completed, or alternatively contact the TMF Staff Member assigned to your team.
