Glen Winn, Revenue Assurance, Fraud and Risk Manager, UPC Broadband Operations b.v. opens the session with a case study: Revenue assurance in a converged operator. He looks at the challenges introduced to the revenue assurance landscape
and outlines the approach taken by UPC Ireland
Next we look at the problem of tackling bill shock, and examine how revenue assurance models can be applied to minimize bill shock and optimize customer experience. Ivan Kabat, Credit Risk, Treasury & Revenue Assurance Director, Telefonica Slovakia, outlines the impact that bill shock was having on customer experience at O2 Slovakia. He outlines how the company determined where billing errors were occurring in the systems, how the TM Forum Revenue Assurance suite was used to identify the causes of the problem and how O2 Slovakia will be forecasting the impact of mature revenue assurance practises in the future.
The session closes with an overview of the current work of the fraud management group within TM Forum and examines the latest results of the fraud survey, the road to a Common Fraud Classification Model and the process of defining a practical Fraud Management Implementation Guidebook.
