The Cloud Challenge business simulation is an online, single-player serious game. During the 2-hour game, players will experience the business changes caused by cloud computing and virtualization.
 

The Cloud Essentials course is available as a 10-hour, interactive, online learning experience or as a 2-day, interactive, classroom-based learning experience. The course provides a balanced curriculum and addresses the business and technical perspectives of cloud computing. It will also explain how to adopt, operate, and govern the cloud. In addition, the course complements the Virtualization Essentials course, which may be taken before or after the Cloud Essentials course.
 
 
 

El Marco Referencial de Información (SID) es un marco que constituye una piedra angular, ya que provee las herramientas y el lenguaje para modelar información corporativa desde el más alto nivel hasta la inclusión en soluciones de software.
 

This course provides concrete advice on how to smooth the adoption Frameworx, reducing the costs of implementing new systems, diminishing stress, and accelerating the ROI in Frameworx and Frameworx conformant/compliant systems. Students attending this course will be exposed to not only the range of strategies used in Application Data Migration but also given direction on how to choose which strategy to use in given situations. Mini case studies will give depth to the theory and lab exercises shall reinforce the concepts and principles presented.
 

Complementing the Information Framework (SID) courses, this workshop provides in-depth study and handson experience in the development of interfaces to OSS applications using a design-pattern approach. The course includes the demonstration of working code examples.

The industry’s adoption of the Information Framework (SID) continues to increase. The Information Framework (SID) Modeller's Workshop offers attendees theory and practice on the use of the framework. Included is how the framework can be extended and implemented by applying modeling patterns and extension guidelines.
 

Billing is about the customer. It has moved from a back office function to a strategic role within an organization. Billing must now be a key component in the management of customers, enabling product bundling, allowing a single view of the customer and driving the fast introduction of new, billable products and services. Using the TM Forum Revenue Map and its relationship with the Business Process Framework (eTOM) as a reference tool, this course will provide a complete understanding of the environment that will support and enable converged, next generation services.
 

The SES Workshop provides students with practical guidance for implementing, using, and extending the SES and other teams’ results. *Case studies depict how the SES work is being used by TM Forum members and exercises allow students to practice the competencies obtained during the workshop (*the half-day version of the course offers a reduced set of modules and exercises).

This course provides the attendee with a big picture view of the Business Process Framework and its use in business process transformation.
 

The adoption of the Business Process Framework (eTOM) continues to increase within the telecommunications industry. As a result, there is a need to provide advanced training in how the framework can be extended/modified for use by an organization and in its practical use.
 

Frameworx is the industry’s only true standard for development and deployment of OSS/BSS (Operations/Business Support Systems) that are easy to integrate, flexible, and easy to manage throughout their lifecycle. This course is intended to provide an overview of Frameworx and its key components.
 

The Information Framework (SID) is the lingua franca for NGOSS. It is used to define in business and systems terms, the information that is utilized in OSS/BSS deployments. This course provides an overview of NGOSS and three of its cornerstones: the Business Process Framework (eTOM), the Information Framework (SID), and the Technology-Neutral Architecture.
 

A number of Interface Development tools are available to help those who are specifying and adopting standard TM Forum Interfaces being created within the Interface Program. The tooling is significantly increases the speed and quality of interface specification and revision across the TM Forum Frameworx Integration program. This workshop provides students with an introduction to application integration frameworks and how to put the Information Framework (SID) to this use. Case studies depict how the framework is being used as part of an integration framework and exercises allow students to practice demonstrate the competencies obtained during the workshop.
 

The Virtualization and Cloud Awareness course provides a 4-hour, interactive, online learning experience. This self-paced e-learning course is ideal for those who require a basic understanding of the virtualization and cloud computing concepts in a time-efficient manner. The course has been designed for learners who need this basic awareness as part of a larger program initiative — as opposed to the full certification Virtualization and Cloud Foundation courses.
 

The Virtualization Essentials course is available as a 10-hour, interactive, online learning experience or as a 2-day, interactive, classroom-based learning experience. The course provides a balanced curriculum and addresses the business perspective, the technical organization, and operating and governing virtualization. The course complements the Cloud Essentials course. The participants can take the Cloud Essentials course either before or after they’ve taken the Virtualization Essentials course.
