Tamas Halmai is Principal Scientist at NATO C3 Agency and Technical Leader in the Service Management Development area. He is responsible for developing new network management concepts and adopting OSS integration technologies and defining related R&D. He was the main author of the NATO Network Enabled Capability (NNEC) service management concept. He has altogether 20+ years of telecommunications experience. Before joining NC3A in 2001 he worked in service provider environment where he held senior managerial positions and was responsible for network and management system development and operations.

Sergio Freitas has a degree in Electrical Engineering and works at Oi for the last 14 years. He is currently the OSS Service Fulfillment Manager at IT Department and has large experience in planning, design, development, integration and deployment of OSS. He also lectures Requirement Management at Santa Ursula University for Computer Engineering.

Nick Shave is holds an MSc in Satellite Communications from University of London. At DERA Farnborough (1993-97), he led a number of technology and security research projects on the UK military satellite communications programme. At Logica (since 1997) he played a key role on the UK Skynet 5 project definition study (1998-2001). He then managed various projects for clients such as Inmarsat, ESA, UK MoD, and BNSC. From 2003-2005, he held two management positions in Logica’s space and defence business. From 2005-2007, Nick was the programme manager of the monitoring and control system for the Galileo Ground Mission Segment seconded to Alcatel Space in Toulouse. Nick is currently a Programme Manager in Logica’s civil and defence space business.

Nigel joined Cable&Wireless through its acquisition of THUS in October 2008. In his new role Nigel is responsible for product development and marketing across Europe, Asia and US. In his role as Product Director at THUS, Nigel was responsible for Marketing, Product Management, Brand, Development, Pricing and Commercial Departments. Bob Natale is the Chief Engineer of MITRE's Joint Network Operations & Cyber Defense department, with extensive experience in network management and software & systems engineering. He has created leading COTS products in real-time RDBMS, telecom OSS, and IP management tools. Bob has been a technical leader on numerous major communications management and service delivery projects. He has played leadership roles on multiple industry standards in the IETF network operations and management area (SNMPv2c, AgentX, WinSNMP, XSDMI), serves as the US Co-chair of the TM Forum Defense Interest Group, and contributes to W3C, OASIS, and NCOIC standards. Bob holds an MS in Software Engineering, an MS in Technology Management, an MA in Public Administration and is currently working on a PhD in Decision Sciences. He has certifications in ITIL and IBM SOA Solutions Design.

Dr. Eslambolchi was previously the president of Global Network Technology Services at AT&T Labs and was also the chief technology officer of AT&T Corporation and chief information officer at AT&T Business.

Michael J Matthews is Head of Strategy and Business Development at Nokia Siemens Networks. He brings with him nearly 30 years of experience in the technology industry, and a strong background in telecommunications, software, technology and innovation. Michael was Chief Marketing Officer at Amdocs Inc, the leading provider of software and services for many of the world’s largest communications service providers. During his 5 years at Amdocs, he played a key role in leading the transformation of the company, addressing new markets, expanding the product line, and evolving the channel to address the rapidly changing needs of the telecom industry.

He has 12 years experience driving telecommunications solutions.

Olaf Melber is the Head of Delivery Center Application Integration at Swisscom (Switzerland) Ltd. He is responsible for all integration and Business Process Management technologies (architecture, development, QA and support) within Process-IT department at Swisscom. This includes the responsibility for the BPM based order handling system of Swisscom.

Since mid 2008, Laurent has been the Head of Architecture, Processes & Technologies within Group IT Executive Committee, he plays an important role in IT transformation. Ibrahim, Chief Technology Officer, is responsible for technology strategy and architecture for TELUS Communications Inc. He began his career in 1990 with Bell Northern Research in the cryptographic systems division. He moved to Nortel Networks in 1994, joining the data systems engineering team. He joined TELUS in 2003, leaving Nortel Networks as senior vice-president, Wireless Engineering in 2000, responsible for global operations, sales support and systems engineering.

John is a member of the TM Fourm’s technical staff and master trainer. His technical staff responsibilities include facilitating the work of the Shared Information and Data (SID) model program, faclitating and leading the Architecture Harmonization team, and providing technical support to the Service Development Framework program. In November 2005, John was elevated to Distinguished Fellow of the TM Forum in recognition of his contribution to the development of NGOSS and the SID.

Dr. Sakari Palko holds the position of Principal of Technology Strategy, and Mr. Kari Rossi is a fellow in the Nokia Siemens Networks OSS and BSS business unit. Both have 15+ years of experience in telecommunications. Both are currently working architecture and technology group focusing on e. g. cloud computing.

Richard is the Director of Technical Product Management for the Microsoft Online Platform in the Business Online Services Group in Microsoft Server & Tools Business. He is responsible for the overall platform planning management of the Microsoft Online Platforms which includes market research, competitive strategy, business & platform roadmap plans. Prior to this role, Richard spent 2 years running a product management team in the Communications Sector organization focused around service delivery platform products for telecommunications service providers. Before joining Microsoft 3 years ago, Richard spent 12 years at Hewlett-Packard in their Asia Pacific and North America regions across various functions including IT, R&D, software business development & solutions marketing, spanning across their enterprise servers & software business, consulting & managed services to imaging & printing business.

Tim Daeleman (M.Sc.) has been working in the area of business process management at TNO ICT since 2003. As an innovator he’s involved in business process (re-)design and enterprise data modelling projects for the Benelux telecom industry. He acts as a speaker at international conferences, including TeleManagement World Nice 2007.

Giuseppe received an Honor degree in Engineering in 1995. At that time, he joins the Research Centre of Telecom Italia Group. After participating in European projects about access network management, he participated in the rollout of ADSL technology into Italian market. From 1999 to 2006 he led several teams for development of innovative OSSs and got some patents about Network Management solutions. Since 2008, he has been the Manager of Broadband and Narrowband Service Activation and Delivery Reporting at Telecom Italia..

Dan Stoenescu joined Romtelecom in December 2004 and has been working in IT System Development in very strong relationship with the business process management related organizations in several projects, mainly in Service Delivery and Service Assurance areas. He was manager of the Enterprise Architecture team in Romtelecom, team that designed the IT Transformation, part of Romtelecom IT Strategy. His most recent achievement in Romtelecom was implementation of the Integration & Orchestration of Business Processes based on Oracle SOA Suite. Dan Stoenescu is working in IT telecom since November 2001. He participated in ARtelecom, Romtelecom subsidiary to the DSL services launch in Romania. Currently Dan Stoenescu is IT System Development General Manager, responsible of IT Portfolio Management (around 23 active projects), Program Manager of BSS Transformation Program and Project Manager of Orchestration and Integration Project.

Currently IT & IS Director in Cabovisão (Portuguese Telecom Operator owned by COGECO in Canada), has more than 12 years experience in the IT and Telecom markets. Today, as a senior Director in Cabovisão, he is leading 3 Departments that build the IT Area, covering Infrastructures, Processes and Applications, with over 35 IT professionals. In this role he is responsible for the IT Strategic Vision definition and deployment, ensuring the alignment with the business strategy for the upcoming challenges on the Telecom industry.

Gary Testa is responsible for Intelliden's worldwide sales. He brings over 18 years of domestic and international sales management experience, encompassing software and hardware sales across Enterprise, Service Provider, Cable, and Mobile markets. Prior to joining Intelliden, Gary was SVP Worldwide Sales and Services at Ditech Networks, Inc. where he repositioned the company's sales efforts toward the IP markets and delivered revenue of $90M in 2007 with 40% YoY increase. Previously, he held sales leadership positions at Aurora Networks, Gluon Networks, Quintessent, Harris Corporation and Sprint. Gary graduated from University of California at Irvine with a bachelor's degree in Russian Language and Literature.

Chris Girard is the Senior Director of Architecture and Systems integration at Cox Communications. Chris has 11 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Chris' team is responsible for setting the technology roadmaps for Cox's Video, Voice and Broadband platforms in regards to Autoprovisioning, Identity Management and Value Added Services(email, voicemail, SMS, etc.). Chris is currently involved in Telemanagement Forums’ Service Delivery Framework initiative.

Mike Kelly has worked with the TM Forum since its earliest days, and joined its staff some eight years ago. He is concerned with the technical collaboration program, including the Business Process Framework (eTOM), where he has been involved over its entire development and now acts as Subject Matter Expert. He is a frequent conference speaker and trainer on behalf of TM Forum for this work. Mike has worked in telecoms for over thirty years, in software and systems design, marketing and product management. He also spent two years as an adviser to the Chief Scientist in the UK Government Cabinet Office on telecommunications and IT policy. Mike also provides independent training and consultancy to organisations in applying the work of TM Forum and related bodies.

Mr. Hewins is a senior manager at BT Group, with over fifteen years of experience in programme management, turnaround projects, business transformation, and IT systems management. Prior to leading cross-functional NEJ teams, Mr. Hewins was previously the Programme Director for Billing & Payments at BT, and has also served as a VP at Cable & Wireless, responsible for services development and strategy.
