Information Collection and Use TM Forum is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. TM Forum collects information from our users at several different points on our website.
Registration In order to use this website, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give basic contact and some demographic information (such as name, email address, country, industry sector, area of responsibility and professional affiliation). It is optional for the user to provide additional demographic information, and unique identifiers, but encouraged so we can provide a more personalized experience on our site.
Log Files We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
Sharing We will share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.

Communications with Users We send all new users a welcoming email to verify password and username. We also send the user site and service announcement updates. We may also contact you from time to time to ask you to update your profile details. A user cannot opt out of receiving these communications, which contain important information about the service. During registration, users are also asked to specify their communications preferences for different types of content they can receive via e-mail, such as information and newsletters, promotion of events, opportunities to participate in TM Forum activities and special offers. We always follow your communications preferences to only send you the information you ask for. Users can update thier subscription preferences at any time by selecting the 'Communications Preferences' option under 'My Profile'. All e-mail messages also contain an immediate unsubscribe link. If you have any concerns about e-mail information sent to you, please e-mail emarketing@tmforum.org.
Distribution of Third Party Content Your communications preferences include a subscription option for 'Third Party Special Offers'. We may from time to time agree with third parties to distribute their promotions to users who have opted to receive this content. These messages are always distributed by TM Forum and no personal information is shared with the third party. Subscription to this type of content is voluntary by the registering user and you can unsubscribe from this content at any time.
Email Tracking Promotional e-mails sent to you may contain tracking information which allows us to assess whether the e-mail message meets its objectives. This includes monitoring e-mail open activity and subsequent click-through and further website activity. Information collected via this method is not shared with any third parties. When distributing Third Party Content we may share broad demographic information such as e-mail open and click-through rates with our partners to enable them to assess the effectiveness of their message.
Correction/Updating Personal Information If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as your email address), or if a user no longer desires our service, you may update your details by first logging in and then accessing the ' My Profile' area of the website. If you wish to cancel your registration you should e-mail info@tmforum.org. Notification of Changes If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our Homepage so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
