Description: Network management that ensures an efficient and reliable service to the customer is becoming increasingly important.  In recent years, the trend in distributed systems is towards the support of applications that are ever more challenging in their latency and bandwidth requirements. As a direct consequence, network providers are increasingly required to provide management support that can sustain these applications.
