I’m home this week, so I don’t have any exotic food stories. However, I would be remiss if I didn’t report on my home-based food experience. I whipped up a batch of smoked salmon and baby back ribs, complemented by my home-made barbeque rub and sauce, along with pinto beans and home-made potato salad. What a treat to try out my big smoker again!
Being at home also gave me some time to continue cleaning out a lot of “stuff” I have collected over the years. And, I found something (well, at least one thing) that I thought was worth keeping and sharing here.
It has to do with a pro-active assessment that I use to grade myself when providing any type of feedback to students that attend training, clients with whom I work, or to members that make contributions to TM Forum work products.
The assessment results in an objective grade that can be given regarding the feedback.
The grade is:
· F, if the only feedback is to complain about a supposed problem · C, if the only feedback is to identify a problem · B, if a possible solutions to the problem are identified · A+, if a resolution to the problem is identified and implemented Something to think about, I believe!
I’ll be home again next week, then traveling again to destination unknown at this time. Mysteries are fun!
And, I hope to see many of you at Management World Orlando 2010, at which you may be interested in attending one of the many courses offered.
