John,
I was actually looking at the TAM (Telecom Applications Map) where order managment is defined as "Order Management applications provide a range of capabilities to capture, authenticate and enable the successful implementation of a customer order. They deal with pre-order feasibility determination, credit authorization, order issuance, order status and tracking, customer update on order activities and customer notification on order completion."
Is it correct to say Order Management (TAM) is the application that handles all the activities of Order Handling processes (eTOM)? It would be helpful if you clarify if my understanding is correct.
It could be that I was incorrectly referring to OM as a process and not as an application.
Thanks,
Patrick
