How the Lifecycle Management Forum Works

    Hi all,

we attempt a first at this one, trying to test the TMF communities as a brainstorming tool where a refined conclusion will be drawn from on requirements regarding Products/Services/Resources LIFECYCLE MANGAMENT (LM) in the context of Service Delivery Frameworks. To facilitate this process, we have sliced up the LM requirements area into four initial topics, namely,

    1) LM Process: aims to specify the management process stages and within each stage the activities/stakeholders/information/tools necessary to facilitate this context

    2) Product/Service/Resource (P/S/R): aims to identify P/S/Rmeta-data, P/S/R catalogs and related architectural issues,  lifecycle  pattern meta-model and touchpoints in the LM process etc.

    3) LM capabilities: aims to specify management capabilities necessary to administer integration and to support the complex dependencies between P/S/R throughout their lifecycle.

    4) Other related LM topics: aims to do what it says on the tin!!

Each topic above has a dedicated subfolder in the Lifecycle Management Forum. Hence, to enter a discussion of choice just issue your posts in the respective topic subfolder.

So good luck to us and hope this becomes an enjoyable journey (and habit for the future!!).

    Aris
