Beginner's Question

Hi all,

I have just joined the TM Forum and have a basic question.

I work in the ERP (SAP to be more specific) space and am very interested in sharing information on how it can be integrated to network inventory software (e.g. Axiom, Telcordia, Netcracker etc). I have worked on a system that "discovers" inventory and creates equipment records in SAP. In this way it integrates with asset management and also displays the "installed base". The same data is used to manage faults, waranties, costs, inventory etc.

Has anyone else done something similar? Also am I on the right forum?

Any help will be much appreciated

It may be better if you post your question to the OSS/J community (http://tmforum.org/community/forums/45/ShowForum.aspx) as the have done some work developing APIs in this space which are now part of the TM Forum's Prosspero program (www.prosspero.org).
