   My problems  are all  about  resource configuration.

  (P1)How can I save the configuration information about various Equipments? 

   I want to configure a euiqipment ( eg. BMR, Broadband Multimedia Router) to record the following information :

   2  input transport streams ts-1,ts-2  after BMR's processing to produce 1 output transport stream ts-3.

    I've noticed that configurationInfo( inherited from  managementInfo ) , LogicalResource or PhysicalResource, ResourceCharacterics from SID. I feel need to build some associations between them. But  I wonder how to build is the best practice.

 

(P2) How can I model the Vlan Trunking  Configuration?

   Vlan Trunking is logical binding multi-port to provide wider bandwidth without adding any physical equipment.

Howdy, Liucg...the SID team is currently working on Service Configuration, which could also be used for Resource Configuration.  Members are currently using Resource Characteristic Specs for configuration information.  I recommend you take a look at the Phase VIII release of the SID for details in the Logical Resource Addendum, which can be found on the SID Collaboration Workspace under the Submitted Documents & Models folder.
