Releases This Week

Share |

Tuesday morning brings with it some very important TM Forum Community releases. Our team has been working hard on finalizing the following enhancements and we're looking forward to making them publicly available.

Community Email Subscription Center.
The Email Subscription Center allow users to manage all of their Community Group subscriptions in one place, eliminating the need to move from group to group to adjust settings. Members will also be able to adjust their TM Forum newsletter and publication settings from within this panel.

More information about the subscription center can be found here:

Community Points System.
Intended as a means to recognize members for their contributions inside of the Community. As you interact with the Community points will be awarded Point for a host of activities including (but not limited to) wiki page development and editing, blog post writing and participation in discussion posts. As the program continues we'll steadily be adding new point accumulation metrics to reflect the varied ways that members contribute to TM Forum programs. When predefined point levels are reached Community Badges will be awarding to reflect the level of participation.

More information about the points system can be found here:

2010 Community Templates
The most visible change will be bringing live the new community templates. Designed to increase member participation as well as lower the Community learning curve for new members. New features will allow for greater networking opportunities as well as easier participation in group discussions, wikis, blogs and meetings. The Beta version of these templates was made available to everyone during the course of January and we included as many of your revisions suggestions as possible.

More information about the templates can be found here:
