As many of you have already noticed there is a new format to the TM Forum Collaboration Community digest emails. In addition to the layout upgrade the new digests now collate information from all of your groups into a single email. You will no longer receive an inbox full of digest emails at the end of every day or week. We hope this update goes a long way to addressing the concerns about community email volume which many of you have voiced. For anyone who is not currently signed up to the digests... -
Community Speed Update We are aware of a continuing website response time issue within the community. We are in the process of developing and releasing several updates aimed specifically at increasing the overall community speed. A developer has been assigned to exclusively work on this issue and we expect to have the community speed back within accepted parameters within the next two weeks. TM Forum Action Week Contributions The logic to make the TAW Contribution drop down selection active in the Request Type field on the Submit a Contribution page was keying off the name Team Action Week% in the TMF event database. With the name change of the event from Team Action Week to TM Forum Action Week, the logic was invalid and the TAW Contribution as a selection in the drop down was not being displayed. We recently released an adjustment to the immediate notification templates to make them easier to read on mobile devices. Based on feedback from community users the notification subject lines have been changed to show message subject is first, followed by the group name and thread id. We hope this small change aides you in reading messages from the community, regardless of your email client. -
Update: This release has been pushed back 24 hours so we can include an update to the groups listing page in the release package. We released several new features and fixes to the TM Forum Online Community. The presentation of quotes in discussion posts has been improved in the notification emails. The ability to link to a filtered discussion view has been added. To take advantage of this feature click on "permalink to filtered discussions" to copy the URL to your clipboard. We recently released an upgrade to the WYSIWYG editor found on post, wiki and blog submission screens. The new version greatly improves the performance of pasting content from Word. The upgrade offers a number of features that help the user paste formatted content from Microsoft Word and other applications, and apply different types of format stripping: 1. We've released several bug fixes for the TM Forum Online Community today. We as always welcome your feedback and suggestions. Discussion Post Count Discrepancies Many people had noticed that the message count in discussion threads did not match the visible number of posts. This was because Out Of Office messages were being included in the total post count despite being removed from the thread. Today's release addressed the inaccurate post count. This issue has been resolved. You are now able to post in multiple topics without incident. Please contact support if you experience any difficulties. We are currently experiencing a problem with discussion posts made to multiple topics. Adding more than one topic to your discussion post will prevent it from being visible in the community. This bug includes cross community discussion posts. Our IT support team is aware of the problem and working quickly to resolve it.
