A New Tool to Automate the Creation of Specifications
As our esteemed developers, I seek your opinion on the Business Services Tool and would like to source an example of where this has may have been used operationally.
The Business Services Tool which is in Beta, was developed by the TM Forum’s Integration Framework Team to automate the creation of specification and development of service-oriented software integration interfaces based on TM Forum standards. It is a model-driven development tool that enables technology-neutral specification of a Business Service and supports the generation of technology specific implementation such as Java and Web services.
The tool boasts some significant advantages to Developers, namely:
q Model driven development environment reducing development costs
q Reduction in the cost of integration by providing standards based business service interfaces
q Enables targeting different technologies via a single technology-neutral specification
q Facilitates compliance with other TM Forum Solution Framework components
q Maintains a business focus throughout the development process
If you have used the tool or plan in the near future to use the tool in a development scenario, I would appreciate if you would make contact with me.
Details of the tool can be checked out from the SVN repository here:
