IBM adds Social Networking to DeveloperWorks

This week IBM added a social networking aspect to their developer website DeveloperWorks, and relaunched with a new name My DeveloperWorks, just like My Space!  Don’t let that association scare you off.  The site is great, and the added social aspect to it will only serve to provide improved support to the developers using the site.  This is not unlike the changes the TM Forum has made by moving to an Online Community environment.

This week also saw a new release in the TM Forum’s Online Community.  The primary feature that will be of interest to the Developer audience is the ability to post cross community discussions.  This will play a vital role in channelling information to the Developer Community, and reinforcing it as the one stop shop for all communications/information related to Developers.
