Management World Africa July 14-17, 2008 Johannesburg, South Africa
Management World Africa extends the established global Management World presence into regionally focused events. It is the leading event in Africa focusing on the management and operations of online services. This event is aimed at service providers from across Africa and the suppliers and integrators that support them in the management of the services they deliver.
A major part of all our events is the conference, and here we plan to focus on how services are changing and so too the way these services are created and managed. Africa embraces many countries and cultures with often quite different political and legislative procedures, and communications requirements and infrastructure. Consequently, we are aiming to cover a diverse set of management issues for the region reflecting these many different fundamentals. We also aim to reflect changes in the value chain for the converging telecom, Internet, cable and content worlds as service providers look towards reducing the cost of operations while enhancing their service offerings to deploy a wider range of next generation services than ever before.
We will be featuring a mix of visionary talks from industry experts coupled with case studies from those that have succeeded in getting the balance between economy and innovation:
- Being innovative and using partnering to move into new services and markets
- Agility measured by speed to market for new services overcoming the challenges imposed by current systems and processes.
- Developing a model for operational excellence as part of driving down the cost of service operations
- Managing subscriber growth in low ARPU markets
- Maximising revenue though revenue management and assurance
