UMTS - IP Interconnect and Content Settlement Interface Implementation Specification - TMF847 v1.5

On site at TeleManagement World in Nice 2002, the team implemented a UMTS access infrastructure to demonstrate the Catalyst showcase solution with live access to content delivery platforms in Italy. The network and content infrastructure was delivered by Ericsson and Siemens, traffic aggregation and bandwidth optimization technology by Cisco.  The network used for this Catalyst was UMTS Release 1, based on the 3GPP R99/R3 recommendations; It consisted of a Node B installed in the Acropolis Convention Center in Nice, a Radio Network Controller and a Core Network in the TIM System Test Plant in Rome.

This Catalyst is a continuation of the following projects:
