This document is intended as an introduction to or overview of the current thinking in the field of Revenue Assurance as it applies to the Communications Service Provider. It is a product of over six months of discussion and debate by members of the TMF Billing and Revenue Assurance group which is drawn from operators, vendors and consultants from around the globe. As such while it is not necessarily to be viewed as an exhaustive or authoritative treatise on the subject it should be considered as a detailed and balanced review.
This current release of the document is meant as a member evaluation version from which it is hoped to stimulate further discussion and feedback with which to enhance the report. A final release of the document is intended for February 2005.
