Summary:
Like other Integrated Local Exchange Carriers (ILEC’s), Aliant is facing strong competition from new entrants in the marketplace, and is continually seeking new ways to differentiate its service offerings, decrease customer churn, and generate new sources of revenue. It was with these goals in mind that Aliant launched a suite of advanced IP-based services to its small and medium-sized business (SMB) customers, which included hosted Microsoft Exchange, Antivirus and PC Backup.
