This document is out for approval. It will present the current view of the Service Delivery Framework, and describes an agnostic management framework for next-generation services that will abstract complexity regardless of the software or network technologies used to implement services.
The TR139 document defines the SDF Reference Model, which decomposes the problem space for identification of key areas in need of standardization. The Reference Model consists of a set of concepts, rules and relationships that promote the common understanding of the domain of Service Delivery Frameworks. It represents the commonality that applies to all Service Delivery Frameworks, and from which each SDF may derive its own reference architecture.1 )
