The TM Forum Co-operative OSS Project is an industry effort led by ten leading Mobile Equipment Providers (Alcatel, Ericsson, Huawei, Lucent, Motorola, NEC, Nokia, Nortel, Samsung and Siemens). Its aim is to help service providers reduce complexity, time to market and cost of operating multi-vendor mobile networks. CO~OP leverages existing industry agreements (eg. 3GPP, OSS/J and NGOSS) to improve interoperability between network management systems. It has gained significant resources from its' members, who are committed to co-operation for ease of operation and integration. |
