Jon Collins is the owner of S.S.C.FZE a specialist consulting business based in Dubai. Prior to SSC, Jon was Vice President of Telcordia responsible for the Middle East & Africa region until the Telcordia acquisition by Ericsson, when Jon took responsibility for OSS related sales into 3 of the 10 global regions of Ericsson. Prior to joining Telcordia, Jon was on the main Executive Board of Syndesis as Managing Director in EMEA and earlier held senior positions in the EMEA businesses of AT&T including sales leadership of the Enterprise Business Customer unit and Managing Director of their satellite communications interests. Jon has significant contacts throughout the Telecomms industry and has been a speaker at several conferences. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the TMForum and for 6 years served on their Board and Executive Committee where he was chair of the Finance sub-Committee. He has been cited in articles on telecommunications in the Financial Times and was the subject of a focus article in Networks magazine.
Phil was previously CIO for BT and a key player in the design and development of the 21st Century Network at BT. He led the team that delivered the systems for Broadband Britain where he developed and delivered the architectures that enabled the huge growth of independent service providers in the UK. Phil has served as a Non- Executive Director and on the Board of Advisors for a number of leading IT companies. He is currently an independent consultant in IT. Phil is a TM Forum Ambassador and one of its Fellows. He is also a former TM Forum Board member.
Alpna J Doshi is currently the Chief Information Officer of Reliance Communications (RCOM) and CEO of Reliance Tech Services, the IT Organization of India’s foremost integrated telecom company. Alpna, with two decades of experiences in Information, Communication, and Entertainment industries, is driving key IT Transformational Initiatives to support business growth for Reliance.
Alpna has been well known for her skilled execution, turning around companies and thought leadership with excellent people management skills. Her 360 degree Management style uniquely stands out in the Telecom and IT industries worldwide, where she has effectively broken through the glass ceiling, and is a globally recognized, accomplished and result oriented leader.
She has successfully lead major initiatives in Telecom, Media and Entertainment industry with Telcos (Verizon and now Reliance), Systems Integrators and Suppliers (Telcordia Technology and Mahindra Satyam) and Management and Strategy Consulting (Deloitte and Touche Management Consulting) She has been an active contributor to TM Forum for over 7 years and also served as an honorary Officer and Board Member for over 5 years. She is an active contributor in directing Standards for multinationals including DAVIC (video consortium), ATM Forum, IPv6, IEEE and CSI.
She was awarded the “Woman CIO of the Year 2010” award by CTO Forum India, the Best Paper Award by IEEE Communications for her pioneering work in Telecommunications, Brand Ambassador Excellence Award-Mahindra Satyam and Excellence Award-Verizon. She is a frequently invited keynote speaker at major National and International Conferences.
Born in Chile, Tony has 30 years experience in the telecom industry, with the first 15 years working for Australian and Asian service providers, across R&D, Engineering, Operations and IT Departments. As a CIO, Tony successfully delivered a $200m OSS/BSS transformation program. Tony spent the next 15 years as an OSS/BSS vendor, at CEO, Chairman and Director levels. As the founder of Clarity, Tony led the creation of a unified OSS product delivered to 30 customers worldwide as major multiyear transformations. Tony is a Board Director of a number of ITC companies, was appointed to the TM Forum Advisory Council in 2009 and is Chair of the Smart Grid Community. He is married with two children.
Deepak Kanwar leads a worldwide professional services consulting team that works closely with communications service providers’ senior executives. His areas of expertise span: strategy development focused on business and operations transformation; business operations impacts from new technology implementations such as LTE, IMS, converged IP; systems improvements (OSS/BSS, SDE, etc); customer experience transformation; business model evolution incorporating API exposure, cloud, and more robust partnerships.
Deepak brings over 25+ years of extensive telecommunications experience including software development, services, and marketing leadership positions based in North America and Europe. He started his career with AT&T Bell Labs.
Michael Lawrey is the Executive Director, Defence Engagement - a role he leads for the CEO to enable Telstra to work more strategically with Australia’s Department of Defence.
Until taking on the Defence Engagement role, Michael was the Executive Director for Architecture, Online & Media at Telstra, a role he commenced in July 2010. He was responsible for all architecture, IT and network for Telstra, delivery of the Telstra’s online capability including application development, cloud and delivery of multi-media solutions.
Prior to this, Michael was the Executive Director Network & Technology a role he undertook for two years. His responsibilities covered Telstra’s planning, architecture, design and engineering capability. In November 2007 he won Telstra’s CEO award for Executive of the Year.
Michael has held a range of portfolios in Telstra in areas such as operations, construction, planning, engineering, enterprise customer unit and service. This gives him an excellent platform for his current Defence Engagement role. He has also worked with vendors overseas and has had the opportunity to work in two service providers in the USA.
In addition to his Telstra responsibilities, Michael holds a Director role on the TeleManagement Forum Board of Directors. This forum is a global industry body that works with suppliers and service providers in setting the strategic direction and standards for the industry. As well as his role as director with the TeleManagement Forum, Michael is an Ambassador for the TeleManagement Forum which promotes collaboration and standards across the industry.
Michael holds a Diploma in Electronic Engineering, a Diploma in Industrial Electronics and has undertaken the AICD Company Directors Course.
Michael Lawrey is the Executive Director, Defence Engagement - a role he leads for the CEO to enable Telstra to work more strategically with Australia’s Department of Defence.
Michael Matthews is a corporate advisor and board director with over thirty years experience in the business of technology. He has a strong background in telecommunications, software, technology and innovation, having held senior positions at hardware and software companies and in both start-up and multinational companies. Throughout his career Michael has been heavily involved in the creation and sale of technology solutions for complex environments.
Michael is Chairman of the Board of Archer Mobile Inc, a leading global provider of mobile engagement solutions. Based on the core belief that mobile can drive business results otherwise unattainable, Archer solutions drive new revenue, decrease costs, and increase customer engagement in healthcare, financial services, retail, communications services, and government.
He is a board director of Calix Inc. (NYSE:CALX) a leading global provider of broadband communications access systems and software. Calix solutions are deployed in 80 countries globally totaling more than 1200 customers – whose networks serve over 100 million subscriber lines.
He is also a board director of Innovolt Inc, a leading provider of patented sensor technology and analytics software which helps companies safeguard and optimize the performance, productivity, and usable life of the electronic equipment that powers industries as diverse as Information Technology, Medical, Industrial Automation and Gaming
He previously served as the chief strategy officer of Nokia Siemens Networks and directed the company’s strategic planning and investments, mergers and acquisitions program and strategic alliances and partnerships. During his tenure, Michael lead the acquisition of the networks business of Motorola, enabling NSN to consolidate its position as the world’s number two network equipment provider with $15B in revenues and 75,000 employees in 130 countries.
Michael was chief marketing officer at Amdocs Inc, the leading provider of software and services for many of the world’s largest communications service providers. During his five years at Amdocs, he played a key role in leading the transformation of the company, addressing new markets, expanding the product line, and evolving the channel to address the rapidly changing needs of the telecom industry. Michael and his team were widely recognized for their role in creating and championing the category of Customer Experience Management software now considered an essential platform for all service industry providers.
Michael was a senior executive and early investor at Groove Networks (a privately held software company which was acquired by Microsoft Corporation). Prior to this, he served in leadership positions across technology companies in the United States and Australia including: Platinum Technology, Inc. a systems and infrastructure software company (acquired by Computer Associates, Inc.), Sterling Software, a systems software company (also acquired by Computer Associates, Inc.), Digital Equipment Corporation (acquired by Compaq Computer Corporation), and NCR Corporation.
An Australian by birth and education, Michael has lived and worked in many parts of the world. He currently resides in a small beach community north of Boston where he lives with his wife Veronica, and Steve, the world’s friendliest dog.
Steve has over 25 years experience in the telecommunications sector. He is an experienced and successful non-executive director and seed investor, following a career in general management, sales and marketing. Currently serving as the CEO of Aria Networks, Steve is actively involved in the Forum as Chairman of the Finance Committee, a member of the Executive Committee and a Honorary Ambassador. His non-executive roles also include, Chairman Advisory Board, Asiainfo-Linkage, the leading Chinese supplier of software solutions to the Telecoms Market, and directorships at OpenCloud and Cyan Technology. He has successfully invested in a number of technology companies including Datanomic (M&A - Oracle 2011), and as COO was part of a small management team which steered Geneva Technology, a UK supplier of high value billing software to the global communications industry, from product launch through rapid growth, market acclaim, a Queens award for Innovation, and the company acquisition for $700m by Convergys.
Colin launched Parhelion Global Communications Advisors in March 2010 to provide strategic advisory services on business model transformation, alternative services monetization (M2M, MHealth and Smart Community) and information systems optimization to Communications Service Providers (CSP) globally. He has more than 35 years of experience in the communications arena, having worked in senior engineering positions for two European CSPs and in senior international roles in major US and Indian corporations. He has been an independent international communications consultant since 1992 working for CSPs in over 50 countries on all continents. In this role, he has defined the transformational business model for more than 10 CSPs, enterprise information systems architectures for over 20 CSPs and programme managed the implementation of solutions as business change catalyst for the CSPs. He regularly speaks at industry events on transformation and business optimisation as well as new business models.
At the beginning of 2013 Steffen Roehn founded Roehn Management Consulting. His company focuses on supporting CEOs of technology startups and companies to grow or restructure, advising CIOs/CTOs in major strategy changes and supporting them in transformations and effective security. He also takes accountability as CxO for transitional phases. His most recent references stretch from global telecommunication companies, insurance companies, High-Tech companies to household appliances. He serves as supervisory and advisory board member of various technology and startup companies.
Dr. Steffen Roehn joined the Deutsche Telekom Group in November 2000 as Board Member IT at T-Mobile Germany. In addition to this function, in 2006 he was appointed CIO of T-Mobile Europe and member of the Executive Committee of
T-Mobile International. He served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Deutsche Telekom Group from May 2009 until December 2012. He served as supervisory board member of the TM Forum and was appointed as TM Forum’s ambassador in May 2012.
Prior to Deutsche Telekom Steffen successfully advised telecommunications, high-tech, financial services and consumer goods industry companies as CEO of the Diebold Management Consulting Group and Principal of global Gemini Consulting.
Steffen has a PhD in physics from University of Mainz, Imperial College London and the European Research Lab CERN in Geneva.
Peter Sany will be joining TM Forum as president & CEO on March 1, 2015. He is a senior international business executive and entrepreneur with a unique wealth of experiences and proven record leading global organizations. He has performed successfully for 14 years in sales, marketing and general management functions in the information technology industry in a large multinational company with direct P&L responsibility up to 1 Billion USD. Peter also has 12 years of experience as a business oriented CIO (Chief Information Officer) and as a member of executive boards in large multinational companies in the pharmaceutical, telecommunications and finance industries with budget responsibilities of up to 5 Billion Euro. He is also an entrepreneur and seasoned non-executive board member, and invested in and ran a medium sized company in the banking software field as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for two years. Peter has also served on several Boards of Directors, most notably on the Board of the Swiss Post for 7 years (6 Billion USD revenue and 55,000 employees). Peter founded, successfully ran and then sold itcps Management Consulting AG that provides business and technology consultancy services for all industries. Recognized as an industry thought leader, among his numerous career accomplishments, Peter was named the CIO/IT Executive of the Year by Computerwoche, an IDG publication. He speaks several languages fluently and has conducted business globally in developed and emerging markets.
Working in the telecommunication industry since 1975, Mr. Siebert has worked in various senior management positions as there are, network management centers of fixed and mobile networks, engineering of network management systems (OSS), product marketing of GSM products and services, customer care operations (CRM included), Quality Assurance, Security- and Process management, Standards and Environment.

Willie demonstrated leadership and teamwork as well as showed a commitment to helping advance the principles of the TM Forum in the communication industry.
As Chairman of the TMF Technical Strategy Sub Committee he contributed to the technical excellence of the TM Forum and helped to materially advance the OSS/BSS industry
Dr. Gadi Solotorevsky is Chief Technical Officer for cVidya Networks. He is a specialist in the field of revenue intelligence, chairs the TM Forum Revenue Assurance Team, and is one of the authors of TR131 and GB941. Dr Solotorevsky holds a BS from the Hebrew University and a MS and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Ben Gurion University. He wrote several scientific papers on Distributed Artificial Intelligence and Resource Allocation.
Makoto Yoshida is Emeritus Professor, the University of Tokyo, responsible for the innovation of engineering education and the application of IT to education at the Global Centre for Innovation in Engineering Education, the School of Engineering. He holds a BE in the electronics engineering and a Ph.D. in the electrical engineering from the University of Tokyo.
Before entering the University of Tokyo in 2002, Dr. Yoshida worked for NTT with considerable research and development experiences in teletraffic engineering, network architecture/design, operations and management architecture/systems, and then with NTT Advanced Technology (NTT-AT) in charge of network/systems integration and operations service business. His experiences include numerous contributions to the international standardisation arena, such as in former ITU CCITT as well as international institutions/symposia, such as TM Forum, since its inception in 1988, having served as Vice President, Vice Chairman and former Chairman.
Tony Sceales leads SunTec's Global Industry Practice for Digital and Communications Services, where he is responsible for defining the company's market and product strategy, developing C-level relationships with key clients, partners and industry bodies, and for creating sustainable value in the sector.
Tony sits on the Executive and Strategy Committees of the TM Forum, as well as the Open Digital Programme Steering Group. He is also an Ambassador for the Forum.
Formerly Tony was CTO and Founder of Celona Technologies. He has spent the last 27 years working in the Telecoms, Financial Services and IT industries in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific. He has driven major software development and implementation programmes for both user organizations and vendors including BT, The Prudential, AON and IBM.
He is a regular author and speaker on the Software and Telecoms industries.
Tony graduated from the University of Wales with a BSc (Honours) in Plant Science. He is a keen sailor and lives in London with his wife and three daughters.
Jose Ricardo Bueno is currently chairman of TM Forum Latin America Interest Group and TM Forum Latin America Ambassador. He obtained Electric Engineering degree by University of Campinas and MBA in IT by the Getulio Vargas Foundation and Ohio University. He is an executive with more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications and IT industries, including project leadership to initiatives in Business Processes and Transformation, Order Management and Workforce Management systems, strategic and transition planning to Telecom service providers. Mr. Bueno was the principal IT architect of Telefonica to construct a system blueprint to the convergence of fixed and mobile operations as well as responsible to acquisition process to Order Management and WFM systems and a frequent collaborator to Frameworkx evolution in particular the Business Process Framework. He is a frequent speaker in the Telecom and IT events and author of several published studies and a consultant leader to many service providers in Brazil and foreign. His prior experience also includes principal consultant to business process and innovation projects to the construction of a Telecommunications Business Reference Model covering aspects of business processes, information and use cases and he was the coordinator of ANATEL Brazilian Communications Commission #5.
Humera Malik is CEO and co-founder of Quexor Group, a global telecom strategy and marketing consulting firm with offices in Toronto and Washington, D.C. She is a telecommunications industry expert with more than 15 years of experience.
In her role at Quexor, Humera works with telecom clients from around the world to define market and product strategy. Her expertise also includes—product development oversight, new product launch and go-to-market strategy. Humera is often called upon for merger and acquisition strategies for increase market share and generate new revenue opportunities.
Humera has worked in the developed markets of North America and Europe, as well as developing markets of Africa and the Middle East. Humera has played key roles in significant industry-changing telecom dynamics such as Mobile Money Solutions in Africa, and has worked to secure grants for mobile innovation in developing markets. With projects in developing markets, Humera served as a strategic liaison with organizations such as Digicel, Vodafone and Zain Group.
Prior to Quexor, Humera worked for Cingular, AT&T and Bell Mobility where she was responsible for defining innovative mobile and wireless productized solutions targeting several key industries – Financial Services, Health Care, Retail and High-Tech. She built several strategic business and technology alliances to generate revenue momentum and streamline solution delivery platforms.
Humera is a frequently requested speaker and respected thought leader in telecom industry forums and events.
