The Revenue Assurance Violation ABE models’ discrepancies identified based on applying the rules defined by Revenue Assurance Control entities as described in the section on Revenue Assurance Controls.
Figure RA.09 depicts how a RevenueAssuranceParameterValue that does not meet a RevenueAssuranceObjective results in a RevenueAssuranceConsequence. The consequence influences the selection of a RevenueAssuranceViolationSpec that results in a RevenueAssuranceViolation, which is also associated to the parameter value that triggered its creation.
In the customer billing control, the value of true (1) means that the objective has not been met and results in a consequence named “Customer Service Not Billed”. The consequence is related to a RevenueAssuranceViolationSpec named “Discrepancy in Customer Services Billed”. The consequence describes the RevenueAssuranceViolation named “Customer X Billing Violation”, which is also related to the control value of true.
