Senior Director of the Open Digital Program
Craig Bachmann has provided executive management and professional services to the cable, broadband, and Telecommunications industry, the Information Technology Industry, and the E-Commerce industry as a Chief Technology Officer, Chief Operations Officer, and Consultant for over 30 years.
Mr. Bachmann has led the development of innovative OSS/BSS systems, GIS, Location intelligence, digital media, and network infrastructure works (1 patented) including a data transformation and middleware product that was deployed by a major Broadband Cable service provider and a Telecom provider. Mr. Bachmann has also provided leadership as Chairman of E-Commerce for the International Engineering Consortium, lead author and participation in CableLabs projects, and participated in executive/think tank events such as the Cable Center’s “Vendor and Operator Executive Advisory Forum”. Mr. Bachmann has over 20 years of experience with the architectures, OSS/BSS, business models, and operations of the cable industry in a variety of roles.

VP, Strategic Programs
Ken Dilbeck is the vice president of collaboration R&D for TM Forum. He has been involved in the telecommunications Industry for over 30 years and an integral part of TM Forum’s Collaboration program for over 13 years. He has been involved implementing and developing a broad range of OSS systems, from billing systems to element management systems, wireless and wireline. Ken has a Masters of Software Engineering from Seattle University and a BA in Mathematics.
Program Director, Agile Business & IT
Barry Graham has 20 years’ experience in the ever-changing communications industry. Barry has held senior positions with large corporations such as Motorola, where he lead their GSM Infrastructure product management team, through to startup companies such as location intelligence specialist Arieso, where he was part of the executive team that grew the business through to successful acquisition. At the TM Forum Barry has been instrumental in driving the new vision for the digital ecosystem as launched by Peter Sany at TM Live! 2015, and is now focused on leading the Agile IT programme to create the TM Forum vision for the digital operations centre of the future.
Mark Newman is an analyst with 25 years of experience delivering insights on the future of the telecoms sector to senior level executives and audiences. Mark’s recent research has focused on telecoms operator business models, digital transformation, service provider diversification, and the intersection between Internet and telecoms. He delivers analysis, presentations, strategy sessions and workshops to global audiences, helping them to plan for the changes that technology and disruptive new business models that will fundamentally transform their businesses. Mark was Chief Research Officer at Informa Telecoms & Media and Ovum before leaving to set up his own research firm, ConnectivityX, in 2016. He joined the TM Forum as Chief Analyst in February 2017.
VP Strategic Programs
Carl Piva is a seasoned executive with 20 years experience of advising and learning from hundreds of communication service providers across the world. He has spent 10 years running telco focused European consultancy businesses followed by 8 years in global roles working for US based market leading software companies focused on the communication service provider ecosystem. Carl has founded a number of small companies with market offerings ranging from transformation management consultancy services to electronic procurement SaaS startups. He has a well developed understanding of many of the moving parts in the open digital ecosystem, having worked hands-on with many of the companies trying to take advantage of the open digital opportunity.

VP, Services and Catalysts
Rebecca Sendel is the Senior Director of the Business Assurance Program for the TM Forum. Some of the key projects she manages include Customer Engagement, Big Data Analytics and Revenue Management. Rebecca has worked in the communications industry for almost 25 years focusing on operational and business support systems for the majority of her career. For the last 14 years, she has held leadership positions in product management and marketing at TM Forum. Prior to the TM Forum she was with software supplier, Astracon, and spent 9 years with Motorola’s wireless infrastructure division. Rebecca holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Nik Willetts is Deputy CEO of TM Forum. In this capacity, Nik is responsible for driving the Forum’s strategy, digital transformation and value-delivery for its core strategic programs for industry collaboration. Nik is passionate about the digital revolution and its profound impact on our lives and businesses. He is a frequent writer, speaker and moderator at industry conferences and events. Most recently, Global Telecoms Business named him to their Top 40 under 40 as one of the most exciting young leaders in the communications industry for 2013. Previously, Nik has held a number of executive positions within the Forum including responsibility for marketing and communications, global events and IT. Prior to joining the TM Forum, Nik ran a successful consulting business working with multi-national companies including BT, WestLB and The Carphone Warehouse.
