Emmanuel Chautard is a telecommunication engineer with 33 years’ experience in Orange Group. He is currently Senior VP Orange Innovation Networks, in charge of Operations and Networks Economics. Previously he joined Orange Romania as CTO in 2018, launching just one year after the first 5G commercial network in Orange Group and the first own FTTH network of Orange in Romania, bringing them in the following years to significant and best in-class levels on the Romanian market. He has been supporting the IT and Network transformations in Orange France over the 2009 - 2018 period. Previously, he has been acting as processes, IT and finance director for the B2B Sales and Distribution in France. He has led the transformation project of the fix incumbent Telekomunikacja Polska at the time of its acquisition (2001 - 2002) and launched the first fix broadband service in Poland (Neostrada ADSL). He has taken an active part in the liberalization of the fix telecommunications market in Europe in 1998 - 2000 and held several Board Member positions. Earlier he was also involved in the preparation of the telecommunications for the Soccer World Cup 1998 in France.
