Mark O'Flaherty

Mark O’Flaherty is the MD for BT’s Data & AI Digital unit and part of BT Digital leadership team having most recently been the CIO for BT's Emergency Service Network.  Holding a first-class honours degree in Computing and pursuing a Masters in AI, he is based in Belfast at BT’s Lanyon Place. Mark leads a global team in software engineering and operations, driving BT Group’s digital transformation. He co-founded and chairs the BT Ireland Innovation Centre. He created and delivered the Digital syllabus for BT’s Business School, where he mentors directors across BT Group. Outside work, Mark is an active community member, volunteering as a Cub Scout leader in Belfast.
