As Senior Vice President of Retail Wireless Technology, Rob Bennett oversees the development and operation of the technologies that support Echostar’s Retail Wireless brands in the United States - most notably Boost Mobile.
Since joining DISH in 2009, Rob has served in a variety of IT executive roles managing SOA/web service delivery, IT architecture, corporate applications, cloud enablement, cloud data strategy, the launch of OnTech, and more. Most recently at DISH, Rob served as Vice President of Software Engineering and Head of Retail Wireless Technology. In this role, he delivered a cloud-native, multi-brand and multi-carrier system for operating DISH’s retail wireless business.
Before joining DISH, Rob served as Director of Retail Intelligence and Strategic Technology at Circuit City. Rob began his career at LexisNexis before moving into engineering roles at several startup and technology companies, including Sun Microsystems and BEA.
Rob earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Richmond, and his Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. Rob enjoys spending time with his family, running and downhill skiing.
