Jason Keane
Jason Keane leads Ericsson’s Business and Operations Support Systems (BOS) portfolio, with end-to-end accountability across products, solutions, and services spanning BSS, OSS, and Managed IT. In this role, he defines the portfolio strategy, investment direction, and go-to-market approach, with direct responsibility for commercial performance and profitability.
His portfolio spans four core domains—Orchestration, Data & AI, Monetization, and Services—covering capabilities such as digital commerce, service orchestration, charging and billing, and advanced data and AI platforms.
A key focus of Jason’s work is translating Ericsson’s technology leadership—particularly in AI and Autonomous Networks—into commercially viable offerings. He has established a data-first approach to autonomous operations, integrating MLOps, LLMOps, and agentic AI into a cohesive portfolio that enables customers to deploy and operationalize AI-driven network and business solutions at scale.
Jason has over 30 years of experience across the IT and telecommunications industry, including leadership roles spanning product strategy, large-scale transformation, and customer-facing executive engagement. He is known for connecting complex, multi-domain technology investments to real market outcomes and business value.
Before joining Ericsson, Jason held senior leadership roles in the operator space, including CIO-level positions. He holds a B.Eng. in Electronic Engineering and an M.Sc. in Business Operations from Dublin City University, and has completed executive leadership education at Wharton School of Business.

Jason joined Ericsson almost 7-years ago whereby before he was a CIO for an Operator as well as running areas such as customer care. In addition, Jason has 30+ years’ experience across the IT industry in verticals such as utility, finance, infrastructure amongst others. Jason brings broad experience and vision to the role.

Jason holds both a B.Eng in Electronic Engineering, as well as an M.Sc in Business Operations from Dublin City University, Ireland. He also holds Executive Leadership certifications from Whaton School of Business, Pennsylvania, USA.
