Since starting his career as a software engineer, Kieran O’Meara has gained more than 25 years’ experience in software engineering, digital transformation, and technology delivery.

Kieran joined Telstra in 2013 holding key executive positions across operations, retail and IT business units. In February 2023 he was appointed to lead Telstra’s Software Engineering and IT function across the group.

Prior to joining Telstra, Kieran held technology executive and consulting roles in the UK and Australia.

Kieran holds an undergraduate degree in management science and completed postgraduate studies in Information Technology, including majors in Object Oriented Design and Artificial Intelligence.
