Service Assurance is responsible for the management and execution of proactive and reactive rule based activities to ensure that services provided to customers are continuously available and performing according to set values for performance and quality. In cooperation with monitoring and orchestration functions Service Assurance will create an autonomic closed loop control of the performance and quality as well as mitigation of service problems and fall-outs.
