Intent Management API
REST API
Overview
This API allows intents to be expressed, reporting on and negotiated between the intent owner and the intent handler. The Intent API provides specifies the basic attributes and relationships that describe an Intent. The expression attribute of Intent contains a statement of the expectations for an intent in a particular ontology language and is validated by the TM Forum Intent Ontology (TIO).
Version history
v5.0.0
08-May-2026 docker-compose has been expanded to enable proxy settings by default, simplifying CTK execution in corporate HTTP proxy environments where this previously required in‑house configuration. README files have been updated to document proxy usage. Failed HTML reports can now be opened directly in a browser, and HTML reports now include headers identifying the API and CTK version used, improving certification clarity and traceability.
17-Apr-2026 Fixed test ordering in the CTK, DELETE Intent now runs after all IntentReport tests to prevent sub-resource tests failing with 404. IntentReport endpoints in the RI now return 404 when the parent Intent does not exist, enforcing referential integrity.
21-Jan-2026 The CTK and RI have been re-released in a dockerized format, this may require different set up requirements and any automation platforms will need to be updated. Click here for more information.
02-Oct-2024 release: v5.0.0 CTK, RI, Postman released. Stable release.
