This document provides notification of the release of the Big Data TM Forum Best Practices for Frameworx 16.5. This sixth release of the Big Data Analytics Solution Suite continues to build on the foundation of GB979, which defines out a reference model, use cases, business value roadmap, building blocks and the analytics big data repository for big data analytics.
In Release 16.5.1, the following has been updated in the Solution Suite:
Data flows: The section on Data Flows has been updated in keepng with the reference Model which was updated to differentiate between streaming analytics and rel-time analytics. Practical value of each has been clearly enunciated.
Maturity Model toolkit: An automated toolkit has been added to easily identify current gaps and areas of improvement.
Use cases: One new Use Case has been added.
