3D Model and Viewer

TM Forum has worked with TR3DENT, a builder of 3D Data Visualisation solutions and services, to offer TM Forum members a new multidimensional view of the Frameworx including the Business Process Framework (eTOM), Information Framework (SID) and the Application Framework (TAM).

To begin using the 3D Model and Viewer by clicking here

The new model includes a three dimensional view of each of the frameworks, detailed descriptions of the individual elements within the frameworks as well as the ability to filter by key words and look at what’s changed since the prior release. Users can search the model for specific areas and the view the highlighted search results in 3D. This 3D model greatly enhances the process of learning the intricacies of TM Forum Frameworx.

Helpful Hints:
In order to use the TR3DENT 3D Frameworx Viewer, you will need to have the Unity 3D Player installed. The installer program runs automatically if no install has been detected.

The Unity 3D Player facilitates the use of 3D technology within all modern browsers using Microsoft supported operating systems. The plug-in is comparable to Flash or Silverlight, which are used for multimedia content.  It is strongly recommended that in order to use the Unity 3D player you are operating:

  • Operating System:  Windows XP/Vista/7/8, Mac OS X 10.6 or newer
  • Browser:  Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome*
  • Graphics card: DX9 (shader model 2.0) capabilities; generally cards made since 2004.
  • Minimum screen resolution of 1024—768.
  • JavaScript and add-ons enabled.
  • Pop-ups enabled.

*As of April 2015 NPAPI support was disabled by default in Chrome, this will prevent the web player from functioning. A work around is displayed for Chrome users on loading of the player.

For more information go to the Unity Website.
