Operations Center of the Future – Future Competencies, Roles and Culture R17.5.1 (IG1158)

This document explores the technical architecture and methodological approach to identify the future roles and competencies required by a Communications Service Provider (CSP) within the Operations Center of the Future.

The structure and flow of the document is the result of a collaborative project which identified critical activities, defined key roles and competencies, and charted a road map to build the necessary capabilities. This exploratory research utilized an application-oriented methodology, supported by a technical architecture which defines the structure for an effective digital transformation. It also explores the role of Culture as a major element to enable the transformative stages.
