   establishing CSP metaverse presence, bridging virtual and physical

   breakthroughs, and TM Forum industry standards. Empowering CSPs to

   loyalty, enhance service efficiency and bridge virtual and physical

   The solution is a single platform, designed to be deployed in any
   metaverse. It reinvents service experiences for both employees and
   subscribers through features like the In-activity Universal Telco

   The vision of C23.0.591 is to create values for our Champions to
   enhance customer experience, and drive operation efficiency through

   To achieve this vision, our Catalyst leverages on the AI technology
   equipped with field proven algorithm such as:

     1. Spatial-temporal clustering algorithm to increase accuracy in
       network demarcation and root-caused locating.

     2. Graphical Neural Networks to enable a holistic service impact
       analysis of the affected and the neighbouring nodes for fault
       resolution prioritization.

     3. Adaptive spatiotemporal entropy frequent item mining algorithm to
       perform AI mining on historical alarms and topology data.

   To realize the service capability roadmap in accelerating their AO
   journey, the Catalyst team has implemented two POC to validate the
   consistency of the solution values.

   In conclusion, the outcome of the POC showed a consistent result that
   is translated to an annual business values of USD 841.3K for POC 1 and
   USD 2.4 Million for POC 2.

   The catalyst team has submitted a case study to TM Forum TechCo
   Organizational Design (TCOD) project, feel free to review and make

   According to TM Forum’s Digital Transformation Tracker 7, the more
   human aspects of digital transformation such as organization, talent,
   and culture are seen as key barriers to success. And unlike the more
   technical aspects of transformation, there is little
   benchmark/advisory available for transformation leaders to follow.

   This need for clear guidance is becoming more acute as digital
   technologies such as LLMs, generative AI are becoming ever more
   capable of performing “human” tasks.

   As a first step, TMF has developed GB1047 Digital Talent Maturity
   Model (DTMM), forming part of a proposed suite of material to help
   DSPs successfully handle the human aspects of transformation. In this
   catalyst, we are putting this model to practical use, using it to
   identify the specific human challenges our champions are facing, and
   identify practical solutions for our industry. In phase 1 we have
   already made significant findings:-

   CMCC Zhejiang: To improve human interworking with AI Bots to achieve
   “Zero-touch” network O&M, new professional career paths and systematic
   training designed for bot development were introduced. This has helped
   CMCC Zhejiang to create bots and release people for more meaningful
   work.

   stc: A knowledge management governance and platform has been
   established, supplemented with digitalized, personalized assessments
   of each employee’s skill status. This has helped to create a learning
   culture with knowledge sharing, continuity of skilling and
   accessibility to required information.

   AIS: Five improvement areas were identified, in which a hybrid work
   policy and knowledge management were prioritized to foster higher
   employee engagement, facilitate cross-functional collaboration,
   promote a learning culture, and thereby deliver business outcomes.

   MTN: DTMM was used to assess its on-going digital workplace
   initiatives and identify additional opportunity of using LLMs to
   improve employee experience. MTN also leveraged DTMM to validate some
   of its unique employee well-being, diversity & inclusion and
   upskilling practices.

   The project leverages the DataFabric concept to construct an
   intelligent data sharing system for data assets, focusing on
   addressing challenges such as difficult data asset acquisition, poor
   data asset quality, low data asset utilization efficiency, and slow
   data asset monetization. Build a data sharing platform assets to
   breakthrough from data acquisition to assign to the whole process of
   use, by swiftly establishing data connections. It provides
   interlinked, convenient and automatic functional applications for the
   whole life cycle of data assets, freeing developers' hands, enhancing
   business demands, expanding the scope of the digital market, and
   enabling the value of data. This, in turn, allows more talents to
   engage in creative endeavors.

   After the establishment of the project, China Unicom Software Research
   Institute organized detailed research and analysis of the status quo
   of data assets, overall plan design, software detailed design
   ,coordination work with other partners and other work . CAICT is
   responsible for the formulation of data asset management methods.BONC
   is responsible for software platform design and architecture, and
   completing the development and implementation of data assets and data
   integration functions.Baidu is responsible for providing intelligent
   algorithms and search engine technology for the platform, using
   natural language processing and machine learning to conduct in-depth
   analysis and index of data. AsiaInfo Technology is responsible for the
   construction and implementation of data asset operation functions.

   This project has achieved the following goals and practices:

   1.Unified management of BOM multidomain data assets

   Open up organizational, network, and technical barriers to achieve
   peer-to-peer connection, build data asset catalogs and data asset
   mapping, and complete the main business BOM three-domain data online
   can be seen, checked, managed, and available.

   The data asset screen displays asset lifecycle data from multiple
   dimensions such as asset management, asset scenario operation, asset
   subscription, and asset usage. The screen fully demonstrates the
   massive data processing and analysis capabilities of the project,
   which includes over 47000 multidomain Data assets, 510PB storage
   capacity, over 3800 high-value assets, over 86000 asset references,
   over 30000 asset subscriptions, orver 11400000 asset push times, over
   87% timeliness rate of assets push. At the same time, based on the
   timeliness and scenarios of frontline personnel usage, asset
   standardization and scenarioization were promoted through business
   scenarios, and more than 4000 business scenarios and 14000 customer
   view scenarios were summarized for frontline empowerment.

   2.Building an intelligent asset catalog

   Utilizing technologies such as data virtualization, integration
   capabilities, cross-platform deployment, and orchestration to enable
   rapid display and retrieval of data through DataFabric. Employing
   knowledge graphs and artificial intelligence to achieve intelligent
   recommendations for data assets, transforming the traditional approach
   of people searching for data to data finding the right people.

   The use of this entire service is no longer limited to the PC. We also
   provide mobile services, enabling employees to grasp data dynamics
   anytime and anywhere, allowing data to flow at their fingertips, and
   delivering flexible and efficient data value transmission.

   3.Integrating standards, development, governance, and operations into
   a unified workflow

   Based on the idea of DataFabric's data architecture, it builds an
   asset management product system to provide managers, business
   personnel, and developers with full-process control and openness of
   asset management, release, subscription, use, evaluation, and
   downgrade, and realizes a unified management system for data
   assetization.

   Data asset developers can develop new assets on the platform or
   perform secondary development on acquired data assets. With the
   predefined data standards on the platform, they can generate data
   models with a single click. Through data integration tools, they can
   smoothly carry out logical transformations and mappings for data
   processing. Meanwhile, data producers can set up and monitor
   processing tasks on the platform, leading to the generation of a
   complete data asset processing workflow within the platform.

   Data asset quality is of utmost concern to everyone. Data producers
   can ensure the timeliness, completeness, accuracy, reasonableness,
   uniqueness, and consistency of data through quality management.
   Ultimately, a data quality report is generated to guide developers and
   producers in quality control. Data users can also focus on the
   reliability of data quality, facilitating necessary quality avoidance
   and analysis. Data assets that pass quality validation can be
   published on the platform to meet the queries and usage needs of

   The catalyst will demonstrate an integrated and automated
   multi-operator service assurance capability supporting SD-WAN products
   in the RUN-phase. One CSP owns the interface to the customer, but
   depends on services from different operators acting as if they were
   all from one source.

   To deliver consistent service and an enhanced customer experience, the
   enterprise’s primary or “overlay” CSP will leverage partner CSPs
   (referred to as “underlay” CSPs) across different geographies. The
   solution will automate processes across the partner network ecosystem.
   In addition to providing guaranteed service levels to the enterprise,
   the catalyst will include a state-of-the-art customer portal embedding
   AI-guided operational assurance and experience orchestration
   capabilities.

   The solution demonstrates elements of a digital-first enterprise
   customer experience management for primary CSP and their partners in a
   collaborative business environment. These include visibility into the
   monetization of their SD-WAN services, including real-time charging,
   performance and QoS implications, and transparency and control over
   the collective resources managed by their primary CSP and its
   partners. The solution will also showcase how AI-guided experience
   monitoring and next-best decisioning at scale can help augment
   customer trust and proactively fill in experience gaps to improve
   monetization.

   Where enterprise network service offers are traditionally supported in
   an insular, siloed fashion within the primary CSP and across its
   partner CSP ecosystem, our solution will demonstrate how to
   interconnect numerous participating networks and systems using TM
   Forum Open APIs to provide an enhanced enterprise experience.

   ► The Challenge

   CSPs continues to sell their connectivity services as their main
   income. If these CSPs lack of modern methods to understand their
   customers, their connectivity services will have low differentiation
   and their campaign management continue to have very low successful
   rate. CSPs need to develop ways to have deep understanding on their
   customers. Also, expanding beyond connectivity is also important but
   many CSPs lack the capability to do so.

   ► The Solution

   In order to do this, participants help champions to find the way to
   transform itself from Telco to Techco (not just on technology but on
   culture, organization and process transformation). The transformation
   to Techco helps the company to use the latest technologies to build
   advance decision intelligence. The outcome-based decision intelligence
   framework enables the champions to have a deep understanding on
   customer segmentation, their spending preference and then developed
   their Right-X (Right time, Right way, Right offer) campaign strategy.
   In addition, the transformation to Techco helps the champions to find
   new business markets and ecosystem partners for new business model
   (verticals deployment like buildingMedTech platform and partnering
   construction industry).

   Welcome to our Moonshot Catalyst “Digital Carbon Footprint
   Optimization”

   Our catalyst project has built a solution to help CSPs reach their
   Net-Zero targets. To do this we are addressing the biggest challenge -
   reducing Scope 3 emissions (indirect emissions that occur in an
   organisation’s upstream and downstream activities).

   Imagine you are the CSP Product Manager, and you want to build a new,
   standout offer that is aligned to the CSPs environmental goals. The
   Product Manager can use the product catalog’s new attributes to see CO2e
   information in real-time and use intelligent search tools or
   generative-AI to build alternative lower carbon product offers.

   Now imagine you’re the customer looking for a new phone and broadband
   deal. The customer can view through any digital channel this new
   promotion and see the CO2e information of the offer, enabling them to
   have knowledge of the impact of their purchase. As the customer starts
   to get used to their new mobile phone, the customer can get predictive
   insights (based on AI/ML) that will tell them how efficiently they are
   charging their mobile and give recommendations on how to optimise
   their carbon footprint.

   Champions and Participants played a vital role in building this

   showing the impact that this solution can have on the industry. We
   will also be sharing our catalyst in the Arena pitch at 1.30pm on
   Tuesday, 19th September. Finally, be sure not to miss our Moonshot
   Catalyst panel: “Solving the biggest industry challenges to achieve
   breakthroughs with far reaching impact” at 4:45pm on Wednesday, 20th
   September on the Studio Stage where our Champion representative,
   Lester Thomas, Chief Systems Architect and Distinguished Engineer,
   will discuss how our industry can lead the world towards carbon
   neutrality, and in doing so cut our energy consumption by at least 25%
   by 2025.
