Dr. Mykola Hayvanovych has 18+ years of experience in influencing, planning, and delivering brand new Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning driven solutions, frameworks, capabilities, as well as ensuring data driven business success. His work has led to a number of awards, including top-paper award, invention of the year nomination, digital partner of the year award, award for best digital enterprise transformation, and other awards for his contributions in industry as well as the research and development domain.

He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science with focus in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Areas of expertise include Generative AI, Computer Vision, ML&LLMOps, AI&GenAI Governance, Graph analysis, ESG, Fraud, IOT, and Semantic Web.

Dr. Hayvanovych has a successful start-up experience and a proven ability to build Generative AI and AI/ML practices from the ground up and ensuring their success. His expertise lies in the development of real-world applications of business-driven Artificial Intelligence to create enterprise level capabilities in various industries, verticals, and business domains.

Recent successes include:

• Generative AI Platform development for a large global financial company. The scope included Gen AI COE setup, GenAI Platform design, and GenAI Enterprise Governance
• Computer Vision Platform development for a global commercial insurance company. Scope includes MLOps as well as creation and deployment of 60+ Computer Vision models
• ESG projects for a top audit firm as well as a global financial institution. The scope includes ESG data foundation work, advanced data quality analysis, as well as ESG factor-based framework
• GenAI & AI model migration for a top tier NA Bank. The scope includes migration of 100+ AI/ML models and corresponding workloads from on-prem to cloud
• LLMOps and AI/ML model migration for a large insurance customer. The scope includes setting up MLOps framework as well as migration of models and corresponding workloads

Prior to Cognizant, Dr. Hayvanovych was a Partner at IBM, Global Business Services, where he led AI for North America focusing on development and deployment of cutting-edge AI based solutions and offerings across multiple sectors. His work there led to an award for best digital enterprise transformation based on Computer Vision and IOT project for a global fast-food giant.

At Intel he was a global Head of AI/ML. He was creator and architect of the Advanced Analytical Tool Kit (ATK) project. Led and developed a number of Machine Learning and Graph analytical capabilities and received a Principal Engineer title at Intel.
