Robin has been part of the core leadership team that initiated the Telecom business at AWS in 2017 and helped hire, mentor a team across specializations and geographies. Robin is presently the Head of Industry Solutions Technology for Worldwide Telecom vertical at Amazon Web Services. He is engaged with C-level executives, technical leaders, and key influencers from AWS's most trusted telecom customers and partners. Robin leads the GTM team composed of global technology leaders and solution architects (across 12 countries) to drive vertical specific strategic customer and partner technology engagements, solution launches, new service requirements gathering, customer pre-sales and delivery of IT, 4G/5G Mobility and Cloud solutions. He has led large cloud technology partner/customer engagements and practice development with 100’s of ISV and GSI solution launches for the Telecom vertical at AWS. He holds several patents across edge, IoT and Telecom solutions. He enjoys transformational efforts to drive the industry forward and help customers implement new products/services and implement efficiency.Earlier, Robin has led Ericsson North Americas sales engagements, solution architecture, design and implementation teams of the Managed Services, OSS, BSS, Enterprise communications, Service Assurance lines of businesses.

Robin has led engagements across global CSP’s including Verizon, AT&T, Airtel, Vodafone and T-Mobile as well as partners including Nokia, Ericsson, Accenture, Amdocs, Netcracker, Matrixx, BearingPoint, Openet and Mycom. He is passionate about service orchestration and management, edge computing, entrepreneurship and ‘value creation' engineering. Robin is a strong believer in lifelong learning has executive education from Sloan School of Management and has a Masters degree in Software Engineering at University of Minnesota.
