Sanjay Mewada is the Chief Strategy Officer at iOPEX Technologies. He is a recognized industry executive, strategist, and analyst, with over two decades of experience in the telecommunications and mobile industry. His expertise spans networking and IT technologies, with a proven track record in branding, positioning, and marketing within high-tech sectors.

Sanjay’s career encompasses leadership roles in market-facing organizations, strategy, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) across diverse industries including telecom, finance, government, and transportation. He has a particular focus on AI, cloud applications, 5G, mobile infrastructure, digital enablement, and autonomous networks.

Recently, Sanjay served as the Worldwide Marketing Leader at MSFT Azure, following the acquisition of Affirmed Networks where he was the Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer. His strategic vision and marketing acumen were instrumental in the M&A activities and growth trajectories at both Affirmed Networks and NetCracker Tech.

Before his tenure at Azure, Affirmed Networks and NetCracker, Sanjay was the Vice President of Research at Yankee Group, managing its Network and Software practices. He has also contributed actively to the TMForum as an executive committee member in the past, and in developing catalyst programs and advancing the ODF and ODA standards.
