Sreedhar Rao is a seasoned technology executive with over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, specializing in helping Communication Service Providers (CSPs) worldwide build and optimize their core network infrastructures and business operations systems. His expertise spans a wide range of critical telecom domains, including billing and revenue management, fraud prevention, 4G-LTE, IMS VoLTE, Subscriber Data Management (SDM), Online Charging (OCS), Policy Management (PCRF), Broadband, Fiber Operations and 5G/Private 5G monetization. Throughout his career, he has designed and delivered impactful, data-driven solutions that enable CSPs to maximize network efficiency and business performance. As the Global Telecom CTO at Snowflake, he is leveraging his deep telecom expertise alongside the Snowflake platform to create an ecosystem of solutions that empower network, IT, and business teams to make intelligent, data-driven decisions.

Prior to joining Snowflake, Sreedhar held key leadership roles across the telecom sector, including Executive Director of Solution Consulting at CSG, where he led technical pre-sales and workflow automation initiatives, and Senior Director of Solution Delivery Practice at Matrix Intelligence, where he spearheaded cloud solution implementations. His extensive experience also includes positions at Netcracker and Alcatel-Lucent. Beyond his corporate achievements, Sreedhar is a Senior Member of the IEEE and an active contributor to industry discussions on digital privacy and policy. He holds a master’s degree in cybersecurity policy and compliance, along with studies in telecommunications and electrical engineering. A thought leader in the field, he has recently emphasized the game-changing potential of integrating Radio Access Network (RAN) data with business systems to enhance network operations and unlock richer application ecosystems. Through his work at Snowflake and beyond, Sreedhar continues to drive innovation in telecom, ensuring that CSPs harness the full potential of their data assets.
