Introduction
In 2024, 50 Catalyst teams are co-creating solutions to industry challenges faced by communications service providers and their technology partners. These projects will be showcased at our DTW24 – Ignite event in Copenhagen on 18-20 June, 2024. This year, there were two sets of Catalyst Awards: the Open Innovation Catalyst Awards and the Moonshot Catalyst Awards.

The Winners & Finalists will be announced during the Innovation Awards Ceremony on 20 June 2024 at DTW24 - Ignite.
Best Moonshot Catalyst – AI Challenge
Awarded to the Catalyst that offers the best solution to leverage GenAI to drive a 30% increase in EBITDA and operational efficiency.
Best Moonshot Catalyst – Sustainability Challenge
Awarded to the Catalyst that offers the best solution to achieve net zero emissions by 2030.
Best Moonshot Catalyst – Growth Challenge
Awarded to the Catalyst that offers the best solution to drive 20% revenue surge for partner-built businesses & showcase creative value chains & scalable models.
Best Moonshot Catalyst – Attendees’ Choice Award
Default category. All Moonshot Catalysts are eligible. Winner selected via onsite voting.
Outstanding Catalyst – Business Impact DTW24
Awarded to the Catalyst that demonstrates the most compelling business impact & potential to be commercially deployed.

Awarded to the Catalyst that receives the most votes in the onsite voting at DTW’24 - Ignite
Submissions
Submissions for the DTW24 - Ignite Catalyst Awards will close on 24th May, 2024. All Catalysts will submit an Awards submission form to become eligible for the awards, indicating the respective category(ies) their teams will compete for and providing proof points. Winners & Finalists will be announced during the prestigious Innovation Awards Ceremony on 20th June at DTW24 - Ignite.
Judging
A panel of exceptional industry experts and executives from global member organizations will gather at DTW24 - Ignite to review and judge the Catalyst projects. These judges bring a wealth of experience and expertise from various sectors within the telecommunications industry, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation process. They will assess each project against specific judging criteria, which include innovation, business impact, proof of concept, and scalability. This rigorous judging process is designed to recognize and reward the most groundbreaking and impactful Catalyst projects, highlighting their potential to drive significant advancements in the industry.
