Through our resources, collaborative projects, thought leadership, and development of toolkits, we strive to be an enabler for telcos to pursue practical, high-impact solutions and initiatives that embed efficiencies and accelerate progress towards net zero at scale.
To empower telcos and their value chain to think and act sustainably, we have committed to delivering programs that contribute to five of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
We believe a company’s sustainability objectives can only be achieved when they are driven from within, with every employee empowered to make a difference. This starts at the top with our Chief Executive Officer, Board, and management team, and flows throughout our entire organization.
We are committed to embedding sustainability into everything we do
This means reducing our environmental footprint, holding strong ethical standards, and always operating responsibly. To achieve these, we are dedicated to educating our people on sustainable behaviors. By providing the right toolkits and raising awareness, we enable our teams to speak with authority on sustainability issues, building a responsible culture.
We are proud of the work we do, and our Internal Steering Committee help us focus more closely on opportunities for improvement. For example, initiatives like “My Sustainability Story” spotlight individuals who deserve special recognition for their efforts.
As ESG demands change over time, we measure our impact in terms of sustainability, as well as sourcing responsibly. Our values-based approach embraces diversity, equity, inclusion, and integrity to guide the way we engage with members and stakeholders, as we evolve together in an open community.
We’re proud to say we ‘walk the talk’ and have developed sustainable policies and practices that set out our principles on minimizing our footprint at the office or while traveling. We have built a Carbon Footprint Assessment for our employees to determine the amount of carbon emitted while working from home and have embedded air travel footprint analysis to identify the amount of carbon emissions produced when we travel.
With this visibility, we can all make better choices about our working habits to actively reduce our carbon footprint and become environmental stewards in the communities in which we live and work. Our employees are encouraged to participate in our Employer-Supported Volunteering Program to dedicate time to a cause close to their hearts and give back to their communities..
