Telecom operators are evolving their business models and partnerships to leverage their existing investments and partnerships and provide more value to enterprise customers as they embrace cloud and emerging technologies. This Catalyst aims to enable a marketplace for CSPs to provide cloud fabric to enterprise customers based on dynamic network infrastructure sharing (xNFs) with hyperscalers, OTT service providers and partner CSPs. This requires real-time exchange of catalogs, capacity and performance, dynamic scaling for sustainable network usage and a standardized approach to closed-loop automation between partners. Furthermore, the current business model of reserving network resources for providing services in a cross-operator scenario is inefficient and does not optimize resource usage. This Catalyst aims to address these challenges by enabling a more efficient and automated way to share network resources between operators.
