Spatial Web: Open Gateway to the Immersive Future – Phase II is a Catalyst project demonstrating how telecom capabilities, spatial context, and AI orchestration combine to move from API exposure to real operational value. Today, a clear industry gap exists. Legacy IT stacks, fragmented B2B integration, limited spatial awareness, and commoditized API monetization prevent CSPs and their partners from delivering scalable, outcome-driven services. To address this, the project introduces a Facility Operations Platform that acts as the control layer for real-time workflows in high-value Industry 4.0 environments such as airports. The platform integrates Open Gateway (CAMARA) capabilities with TM Forum ODA and Operate APIs, and orchestrates them using AI agents that interpret context, enforce policy, coordinate partners, and dynamically adapt execution. At the core of this is the Spatial Web; enabling systems to understand location, identity, and real-world conditions, and to trigger the right actions in real time. This is brought to life through a live demo. In an airport scenario, a technician enters a controlled zone, the platform verifies identity and location, activates network capabilities, coordinates partner applications, and dynamically guides execution, while ensuring safety, compliance, and a complete audit trail. In practical terms, the project shows how CSPs can move beyond connectivity and individual API sales toward bundled, outcome-based services that deliver measurable business value. It provides a blueprint for scalable ecosystem collaboration, where spatial intelligence, Open Gateway, and AI-native orchestration work together to operationalize complexity and unlock new revenue models.
